Color Trends 2009…Yellow
Pantone kicked off the year with their official yellow color: Mimosa. It’s a vibrant warm yellow, with hints of orange. That spurred everyone else to jump on board in the fashion & interior decorating worlds. But still, there aren’t that many people that actually look good when wearing yellow. It tends to cast that terrible hue on your skin that makes you look ill. No matter, there’s plenty of room for yellow everywhere else…hopefully those who don’t look good in it have learned not too wear it just for the sake of the trend. I must say, however, that our beautiful new First Lady, Michelle Obama, wore her shade of yellow in the most perfect way.
