Trends in Water…Do I really want Space Water?
What are the facts on beverages that have flown through space and are now back on earth? Spaceflown electrolytes? Do I really want to drink them? What sort of effect do atmospheric conditions have on plastic bottles and electrolytes? Should I be concerned that the Space Store is offering these at a discount? Is there a reason they are being sold at a discount? Did NASA find out that these beverages made the astronauts smarter? Do they just want to find out if people will buy them? Maybe they have a huge warehouse full of this particular water and with all the budget cuts they are now responsible for their own funding? And it’s only available to ship in the United States. What does that mean? I’m just not sure what to think. But I do know it sounds very interesting, which is why I am posting this.
